Formerly known as Attorney’s Messenger Service, AMS Legal Support Service is the leader in Attorney Services. We offer Statewide and Nationwide Process Serving and Court Filing.
AMS Legal Support Services also offers Eviction Services, Preparation of Small Claims paperwork and assistance in Judgment Enforcement and preparation of Legal Forms. We are fully versed in the preparation, filing, and service of Eviction and Small Claims Paperwork and Post-Judgment recovery (Abstract of Judgment, Wage Garnishments, and Bank Levies). We also provide skip tracing, address locates, and more.

Meet Our Leader
Lauri Chichester-Taylor has been working in the legal field for over 30 years. She has worked as a legal courier, a process server, a photocopier, and has done investigations. She worked the bulk of her career as a civil litigation paralegal. She is experienced in trial preparation and has assisted many attorneys in successful trials.
Because of her experience in a law firm, she understands the needs of her clients for quality litigation support services. She knows what paralegals and attorneys expect from a litigation support company. Lauri has taken her years of experience as a paralegal and now offers a variety of services for both attorneys and consumers.
Lauri is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants and has a California Advanced Specialist designation in Civil Litigation. She is a Registered Legal Document Assistant, a Registered Unlawful Detainer Assistant, a Registered Professional Photocopier, a Registered Process Server, and a Notary.
Lauri is the Past President, Vice President, Representative and Board Member of the Kern County Paralegal Association. She has served as the local representative to the Statewide California Alliance of Paralegal Associations (CAPA) Board. Lauri is currently serving on the Board for the California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPRO).
We are proud members of California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPRO), the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) and SERVENOW. AMS Legal Support Services is a proud supporter of the Kern County Paralegal Association (KCPA). Meet Our Staff
Meranda Matthews: Process Service Coordinator
Meranda has been in the legal service industry since 1996 and she has been with AMS Legal Support Services for 10 years. She is responsible for processing orders, coordinating process servers and their assigned areas, preparing Proofs of Service, performing locates and skip tracing, and preparing billing.
Collin Hollett: Court Services/Photocopy
Collin has been with AMS for 3 years. He is responsible for preparing court filings, court research, and obtaining copies of court files and documents. He is also responsible for our on-site photocopy. He travels to businesses and medical offices and can quickly and efficiently scan documents on-site with little interference to the business.
Austin Carpenter: Evictions
Austin has been with AMS for 3 years and is responsible for the preparation and filing of Eviction paperwork. He is well versed in the preparation of 3 Day, 30 Day and 60 Day Notices and all aspects of Eviction paperwork.
Mayra Romero – Court Services /Subpoena Preparation and Authorizations:
Mayra is our newest member of the AMS Legal Support Services team. Prior to coming to AMS Legal Support Services, she worked for a local law firm. She is in charge of our Deposition Subpoena and Authorization services. She prepares necessary documents, sends them out for service, and obtains the records as requested. Mayra also assists in our court services and process serving departments. In addition, Mayra is bilingual and is able to communicate effectively with our Spanish speaking clients.
Dot Manning: Accounting
Dot has been with AMS Legal Support Services for 5 years. She is an experienced bookkeeper and handles all accounts receivable and accounts payable for AMS.

Steven Gibbs: Steven works the Stockdale afternoon route.
Velsa Nunez: Velsa works our Utility Route (special deliveries to the out-of boundaries areas) and our Downtown afternoon Route.
