PROCESS SERVING

AMS has a seasoned crew of experienced Registered, Bonded Process Servers.

Our servers are available to serve legal documents 7 days a week, at all times of the day. Servers are area specific, so they know how to get the job done as quickly as possible. Our process managers communicate with each server daily and enter status/attempts. You can obtain status on any of your Service of Process assignments by checking your client portal, emailing or calling the AMS Legal Support Services office that is handling your assignment.

Rush serves are attempted within 24 hours.

For all routine local serves, papers are placed in the field in 48-72 hours and we will make up to 5 attempts. Local rush serves are attempted within 24 hours. We will make up to 5 attempts. We communicate with our clients regarding status and propose alternatives for completion of service.

For process serving orders, our deadline is 3 p.m. for local serves. For serves outside of California, our deadline is 10:30 a.m. For serves outside of California, 3 to 5 attempts are included.
